Singer and Songwriter David Cahalan releases his fouth album entitled David Cahalan Christmas. His new video and song Santa’s Last Stop is now available on YouTube.

 

Dec. 15, 2010 – PRLog — If you’re looking for something different in holiday music this year, local and International recording artist David Cahalan just released his fourth album, DAVID CAHALAN CHRISTMAS. David comes alive performing on the accompanying video where he introduces a chorus of young children to the joy of Christmas through music and Santa’s adventure on the 26th day of December. The lighthearted SANTA’S LAST STOP is bound to become a holiday hit for years to come. Cahalan renders his smooth, breezy sounds of Christmas with vocal style beyond imagination.

David Cahalan toured with Richard and Karen Carpenter and has performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in the business. As part of The Tom Bahler Chorale at A&M Records, Cahalan sang backup vocals for legendary groups of the 70s, both live and on recordings such as The Carpenters Christmas Portrait album and Sweet, Sweet Smile.

Cahalan will be performing live December 20th, 10am, on Studio10, WTSP’s entertaining daytime show that showcases local artists’ in the Tampa and St. Petersburg area. On December 23rd, Cahalan will be performing at a dinner show at The Tampa Club, located at the Bank of America building (top floor) in downtown Tampa. In David’s first album, Flavours of Life, his band performed an original reggae-pop song in the Florida keys where the recent movie, I Love You Phillip Morris was being filmed. Cahalan’s song, I Don’t Hafta Worry About It, was selected for the movie which stars Jim Carrey.

In another album, Dedicated: The Music of Karen Carpenter, Cahalan recorded a tribute to the legendary artist Karen Carpenter, an album that all Carpenters’ fans will enjoy. The album received the Radioindy’s “Grindie” Award.

Cahalan’s third album, Positive Energy, is a solo acoustic performance with songs that will capture your heart as you relate to his life’s experiences.

Cahalan has performed from the west to the east coast, at the Kennedy center in Washington D.C., in Canada, Australia and other spots throughout the world. In the 80s, David moved to Australia, where he performed and toured with an Acappella group called Naughty Fish. One memorable gig was singing at a party for Alan Bond, the Australian hero who defended the America’s Cup he won in 1983. Since 1988 David has lived in the Tampa Bay area.
